Before you put your band in it.
Do my bandmates need an account to answer a gig?
No. Everyone on the line-up gets their own email with the date, the venue, their role, their fee and the plan for the day, and a link that opens one page where they answer in a single press. No sign-in. An account is for the rest of it: the calendar, the setlist, the files, their earnings.
What if the date is not settled yet?
Put every date in play on the gig and the band sees all of them, on the page and on the calendar, marked as possible. When the promoter picks one, you press "Use this date" and the whole night moves with it, load-in, soundcheck and show included. Until then everyone says which of the dates work for them, and you see it date by date.
What about a gig that probably will not happen?
Publish it without asking anyone. The band is told, nothing is requested, and anyone who already knows they cannot make it can say so. Confirm it later and the real ask goes out to everyone who has not answered yet.
Can one band play as a duo and as the full band?
On Pro+, yes. Save each shape as a collective, with its people and what each plays in it, and a new gig starts from one with a single choice. When a client wants a date before anybody knows which collective plays, put two or more on the gig: only their people see it, nobody is asked yet, and it cannot be confirmed until you choose. Then the chosen collective is asked the usual way.
What does a substitute see?
From the email link: the date, the venue, their role, their fee and the day-of timeline, with no account. With a Giglogik account the gig is in their app too, with the line-up, the setlist and the files, on their calendar and in their earnings. Never anyone else’s fee, never the gross, and none of the band’s other gigs.
Who sees the money?
Each person sees their own fee and nobody else’s. The Owner and the Managers see the gross, every fee and every expense. A band can choose to show the gross to everyone, or every fee to everyone, as two separate switches. A Technician sees only their own fee, unless the band chooses to show its technicians the money.
Does it work with my calendar?
On Pro, switch it on once and confirmed gigs go to your Google Calendar, and leave it again if the gig is cancelled. Gigs that are not confirmed stay out unless you ask for them, per band, and then they arrive marked unconfirmed and as free time rather than busy. Your Google busy times come the other way, so a clash shows on the gig. You can connect your calendar on any plan; a Free band just plans without it. Any single gig also downloads as a calendar file. Not on Google? Make a private calendar link for a band, or one for all your bands, and any calendar app that subscribes to links (Apple, Outlook) follows your gigs, on every plan.
What happens on the day?
Everyone playing gets a day sheet by email, when a Manager sends it or automatically at the time the band picks: the timeline, who else is on, the setlist, the venue with a map link, every contact worth having, and the notes the Manager wrote. Your next six gigs are also kept on your phone, so the venue with no signal is not a problem.
I run several bands. Do I pay for each?
One subscription covers up to twenty of your bands: one band at full price, every further one at half, whatever plan each is on, all on one invoice. Add a band or take one off at any time, as long as no payment is owed. People who play in two of your bands are in both with one account.
Can my company pay, with the invoice in its name?
Yes. On the checkout page say you are buying as a business and add the company name and VAT number: every invoice carries them. A VAT-registered business in another EU country is invoiced under the reverse charge, so its invoices show no VAT. The billing portal keeps every invoice.
Where is my data?
The database is in the EU, with Supabase, and the privacy policy names every other service that handles part of it, such as payments and email. Download everything tied to your account from Settings whenever you like. Delete your account and your personal data goes with it; the gigs you played stay in the bands’ history, with your name taken off.
